VETFEST is a free family oriented festival that brings military families, friends, and the community together for a fun filled day of entertainment, activities, military displays, and offers direct access community resources.  

Williamson County Cadet Squadron (TN

Williamson County Cadet Squadron (TN-193) is a non-profit organization with Civil Air Patrol. We are part of the United States Air Force Auxiliary. We teach cadets age 12-18. We focus on Leadership character development, aerospace education, and physical fitness. Through our program cadets learn how to fly air planes and have many other opportunities.

Slaves to Soldiers

Slaves to Soldiers is designed to help bring attention to the approximately 300 African American veterans of the US Army and US Navy from Williamson County, Tennessee who fought in the Civil War. Many of these men were enslaved before the War, emancipated themselves to join the federal forces and fought for their freedom and that of their families.
